There’s a proven model that many of the most successful affiliate marketers have used to make thousands of dollars every week with ClickBank. This is a long post with a ton of information but it’s worth your time to read it all the way through, especially if you’re just starting out with affiliate marketing. ClickBank is the most trusted name online for sourcing information products to sell. I like information products as they’re the easiest products to promote and sell online.
Affiliate Marketing is Not a One Night Stand!
Most new affiliate marketers set out in a similar way. They go to ClickBank, pick an affiliate product to promote, send traffic to a landing page, make a sale and profit! Wham, bang, thank you! They never know the name of the customers who purchased their products and they’ll probably never see them again either. Business like a fulfilling relationship must be a long term commitment! A loyal customer will come back repeatedly to buy your products. Try to think of the lifetime value of each customer as opposed to the transactional value of each sale. This is the mindset of the most successful online marketers and the reason they outshine everyone else.
A ClickBank Model that Works
A successful ClickBank business model is more complex than the one night stand model. It’ll require more work up front, but will make you far more money long term. The steps are as follows.
-Choose a series of ClickBank products in the same niche to promote
-Create a free eBook or Audio book about the niche to give away
-Create a squeeze page offering the free ebook
-Send traffic to the squeeze page
-Capture the lead coming to the squeeze page (ask for the persons name and email address)
-Deploy email auto responders with the ClickBank products (AWeber is the best for this)
-Watch the money pile up in your ClickBank account
-With this model, you’re building a customer base. Instead of sending leads directly to the ClickBank landing page to buy the product and never see them again, you send them to your squeeze page to capture their emails so you can market products to them for weeks, months and years to come. This is a far more powerful marketing method and increases the long term value of each customer you sign up.
